When hazardous contamination was identified on a major construction site,
Sprague & Sprague represented neighborhood community groups in
negotiating with the project developer and environmental consultants to
effect appropriate site remediation and an overall resolution of the
neighbors’ concerns.
We successfully represented a family after a high pressure petroleum
pipeline ruptured under their property. The Firm prosecuted claims against
the pipeline company and others in a jury trial, invoking a federal oil
spill statute as well as state law theories of liability, resulting in a
significant judgment for our clients, which we successfully defended on
appeal.
