Sprague & Sprague successfully represented an estate in its claims
against a managing partner of a family partnership, resulting in a
favorable and often-cited opinion of a federal court of appeals which
allowed our client to proceed against the managing partner, and others,
under RICO.
We have succeeded in having RICO claims dismissed in varied circumstances,
including failure of plaintiffs to properly plead or establish the
necessary predicate acts, the pattern of racketeering, or elements of a
conspiracy required to state claims in this highly technical area of the
law.
